About

Dr. Murga-Zamalloa is a physician-scientist with board certification in both anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology. The clinical and translational research interests of Dr. Murga-Zamalloa are T-cell lymphomas, with a focus on the molecular mechanisms that the actin cytoskeleton plays during lymphoma progression.

  • 2017  Benjamin Castleman Award. United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Granted for an outstanding publication in human pathology at the annual USCAP meeting.
  • 2017  Stowell-Orbison Award. United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Granted to the best research work through a poster presentation at the Annual USCAP Meeting.
  • 2017  Pathologist in training award. Society of Hematopathology. Awarded to an outstanding publication related to hematopathology at the Annual USCAP Meeting.2015   Stowell-Orbison Award Certificate of Merit. United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Granted to the best research work through the medium of a poster presentation at the Annual USCAP Meeting.
